The basics.

What is Tradift and how does it work?
Tradift is an all-in-one platform that gives you the essentials to start, grow, and scale your ecommerce business. You can create and customise an online store, manage products, inventory, payments, and shipping, and receive payments easily. Tradift is hosted in the cloud, so you can run your business from anywhere with an internet connection.
Do I need to be a designer or developer to use Tradift?
No. Anyone with an internet connection and a device can get started. You can customise the look and feel of your store with the built-in store builder and themes, no code required.
How long is the free trial?
Five days. No credit card required to start. After your trial expires, choose a plan that suits the size and stage of your business.
In what countries can I use Tradift?
Tradift is available in more than 180 countries worldwide. Create an account today to start selling from anywhere.
How do I add products to my store?
From your dashboard, go to Products and click Add product. You can upload images, set prices, write descriptions, manage variants like size and colour, and organise products into collections. For larger catalogues, use the bulk product import to add many at once.
02 / Payments

Getting paid.

How do I receive payments?
Tradift integrates with industry-leading payment providers so you can accept payments from anywhere in the world. You set up your store's payment options from the dashboard, choose the methods you want to enable, and start accepting orders.
Which payment methods can I offer my customers?
You can accept cards through your connected payment provider, plus offline payment methods like bank transfer and pay on delivery. Available options depend on your country and the providers you connect.
Are there transaction fees on Tradift?
The Basic plan has a 1.5% transaction fee. The Standard plan has no Tradift transaction fees. Your payment provider will still charge their own processing fees, which are separate from Tradift.
Can I issue refunds from the dashboard?
Yes. Open the order, choose Refund, and select full or partial. The refund is processed through the original payment provider and reflected in the customer's account based on their bank's timeline.
03 / Products and inventory

Stock and catalogue.

How does inventory tracking work?
Turn on inventory tracking on a product and Tradift will count stock down with each sale. You can set stock per variant, get low and out of stock notifications, and manage inventory across multiple locations on the Standard plan.
Can I have multiple staff accounts?
Yes. The Basic plan includes 3 staff accounts and the Standard plan includes 8. Each staff member gets their own login and you can control what areas of the dashboard they can access.
04 / Domains and themes

Look and address.

Can I use my own domain with Tradift?
Yes. If you already own a domain, you can connect it to Tradift from your store's dashboard. If you do not have one, you can buy a new domain through Tradift.
Do I get a free domain?
Yes. Tradift includes a 1 year free domain (.com.ng) on any yearly plan.
Can I change my theme later, and will I lose my content?
Yes, you can switch themes at any time from the dashboard. Your products, pages, blog posts, customers, and orders are stored separately from the theme, so swapping themes does not delete them. Theme-specific settings will reset when you change themes.
05 / Shipping and taxes

Fulfilment, handled.

How do I set up shipping rates?
Go to Settings, then Shipping. You can create shipping zones by region, charge a flat rate per order, set rates by weight or price, or offer free shipping above a threshold. You can also automate shipping with supported carriers.
Does Tradift handle taxes for me?
Tradift can calculate and apply taxes on orders based on the rates you set per region. You are responsible for registering with your local tax authorities and remitting collected taxes. Talk to a tax professional if you are not sure what applies to your business.
06 / Billing

Plans and payment.

How much does Tradift cost?
You can try Tradift free for 5 days, no credit card required. After your trial, choose a plan that suits the size and stage of your business. See the full breakdown on our pricing page.
Can I cancel any time?
Yes. You can cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings. There are no long-term contracts.
Can I change plans later?
Yes. You can upgrade or downgrade your plan at any time from your billing settings. Your features and limits update right away.

Our support team is available around the clock by email and chat. Most questions get a response within a few hours. Standard plan merchants get priority support and shorter response times.
